Some say investing in jewelry is not a wise move. But, according
to the Diamond Protection Service, a division of De Beers Ltd, owners of 80% of all the
diamond production of the world, diamonds increased in value 70% from 1980-1990. Since
1990, their prices have stabilized, with a 5-10% increase in certain sizes and qualities.
Many people do not realize there may be a substantial increase in value in keeping jewelry
when creating a will or listing their assets. Keeping abreast of these matters can help
